Even if they offered me a free meal there. No instead they want to go as cheap as possible and charge as much as they possibly can. Let us feel like we are getting something decent for our money. It is not like they aren’t getting rich with all of the slot machines. But for a $30 buffet, I felt like it was a huge rip off. Maybe if we had only paid $9.95 for this buffet I would be willing over look it’s lack of quality. You can tell management doesn’t care, so why would the employees? The general morale of the employees shows in the pride they take in their job. The servers at the buffet were not the best either. Numerous servers had to walk by it and never did pick any of it up. There was chunks of food on the floor by our table. The restaurant was not very well taken care of. Well the server didn’t know what was sugar free and what wasn’t. Husband is diabetic and wanted to try something sugar free. That was probably the tastiest thing in the whole meal. Had the server put some chocolate syrup on it. So hubs suggested I try the soft serve ice cream. The choices were basically cakes and pies and very few choices at that. They only had one guy doing the salad station and the dessert station. And Butterfields kept up the streak and disappointed there also. So after several misses with the main course, usually the save grace is dessert.

But it had been sitting there for so long it was dry and very tough. Only thing you could choose that wasn’t fried was a salad. The only green vegetable they had that night was fried zucchini. I am currently trying to watch what I eat and like to eat healthier choices. One of the first times I have been to any buffet that didn’t have Macaron & cheese. But I could overlook it if the food had been good. You have to wait to have a server get it for you. So you are unable to serve your own food. They are still observing Covid precautions. Butterfields was the worst thing I have had in a very long time. But I want it to be good and worth what I pay. I don’t have a problem paying that much for a meal. So for the two of us with tax it came to $45. Luckily for us we had a 25% off discount. For the dinner buffet the regular cost is $30 per person. But we had a weak moment and decided to give the Butterfields another try. My husband and I have tried to stay away from buffets. Recently made a trip to visit the Choctaw casino.
